“My works comprise basic forms organised into compositions. I see these as emotions. I like to give visual form to how an embrace might feel, for example. So I’ll place two forms together, one pushing into or penetrating the other. I organise my pictorial compositions intuitively. I see these works as contemplative. They transmit a certain feeling in a language that’s accessible to all: the language of art.”
