“Using the same four colours as an inkjet printer (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), I build up to 50 layers of paint on the paper to create realistic paintings. This protracted technique acts as a metaphor for slowing down, inviting myself and the spectator to look more closely at our surroundings.”
